CANCER Announce New Lead Guitarist

Reunited U.K. death metallers CANCER have announced the addition of lead guitarist Dave Leitch (PULVERISED) to the group's ranks. "We look forward to recording the new album with him and touring in 2005, our first show being at Camden Underworld at easter," the band write on their web site.

CANCER drummer Carl Stokes and guitarist/vocalist John Walker will spend the next few months writing material for a new full-length album, tentatively due in 2005 through Copro Records.

CANCER recently issued their comeback EP, "Corporation$", through Copro. Included on the effort was the group's cover version of the CELTIC FROST classic "Dethroned Emperor".
